Conner is an un-restricted FA who has not signed with anyone. If he has received any offers from the Steelers or anyone else I have not seen it reported anywhere.

he is no bruiser, he will fight a spot with Samuels and McFarland as the 3rd & long RB, for what I read Ballage is good as a pass blocker so that will help him for sure.

Maybe we got our diamond in the rough without even drafting him. I realize that was a highlight film but dang 8 TDs in one game......... that's insane at any level. None of us know what the STELERS intend to do but I see this as a current RB will not make the final 53.

Who in their right mind wouldn't agree with this post ? Ballage obviously is no Barry or Emmitt but he could contribute in a replacement of JaySam. I'm sure this is more of a "see who sticks" type signing and is not our answer at running back as 1st or 2nd round will solve that need.

I am 100% OK with “dumpster diving” for FA RBs and taking a flier on a guy that has potential but hasn’t shown it in the NFL.
Resigning Ben, keeping JuJu, getting reclamation RBs, finding a decent blocking/receiving TE......all means zip/nada/squadouche if we don’t fix our obviously inept O-Line.

Ballage has averaged 3.1 ypc. That is terrible especially since he supposedly has speed and power. Draft Harris or Etienne in Rd. 1 or move way up to get one of them in the 2nd. Williams draft stock dropped a little with his 4.55 40 yesterday.
