Steelers sign Matt Feiler to one year extension

Hubbard is almost certainly gone and Feiler appears to be the next man up. You can always count on at least one backup lineman getting significant snaps each season.

sorry, but who? Well, he did start one game and played in five. Baby steps.

LOL....I really only know him because he went to a high school around where I live and went to school with a guy I work with. The guy I work with brags about how great he is....I was like who? LOL

Solid move and bet he signed a very friendly deal. Some here act as if you have to be a SUPER STAR to be signed. As some said, solid depth and another year under his belt. Keep moving up the ladder regardless of size of steps.

This is why I'm hard to see us signing Bell at a total team cost.

I remember him playing tackle in preseason.... It was written that he was out of practice squad options and had played better than Hawkins but the Steelers had draft choice in Hawkins....Ended up keeping both as lions and other teams were picking uo o-lineman and liked the coaching they had gotten here....71

Feiler can play all positions on the Oline except Center, he's good quality backup
