Happy happy joy joy!!!
I said Scobee wans't that accurate and had a down 2014.
I'm saying it again, Boswell is very unproven. I would have went with Feeley.
The educated fans know this guy has NEVER kicked in the NFL. Tomlin and Colbert continue to make bad moves.
Boswell missed five extra points in college. How's he going to do in the NFL?
His accuracy was not great. Just 76.1% for his college career. See the below link

Sounds promising. Is Suisham's career done with an ACL injury or is he slated to return?
Well at least we won't have the pie in the sky expectations for his performance and he won't have to take a lot of abuse if he misses one occasionally. j/k haha...that'll be the day. Poor kid don't know what he's in for, you see that empty stadium he's used to kicking in ? Welcome aboard young fella, now buckle up.
I guess you would have sent Scobee out there to miss a 51 yarder, and give the Rats the ball at the 41. The play call sucked, but the decision to go for it made all the sense in the world.
You're assuming everything would have gone the same way, which usually never happens. Let's say the Rats get the ball at the 10 and only gain 3 yards. You don't know what type of punt their kicker would have made. Sure, he might have shanked it out of bounds at the 35. Then again, he may have boomed a 50 yarder. A lot of ifs. If the Steelers make the first down, they have the ball inside the Rats 40. That is better than pinning the Rats deep. 4th and 2 is hardly an impossible task. They just didn't make the play. People are always talking about being aggressive, and playing to win. Then, when teams do that, and it doesn't work, everyone is mad that they didn't go the conservative route. Yet, all over this board, people are complaining that the offense was too vanilla during the game. I guess the wrong call is the one that fails, even though sometimes all of your choices would have come up short.
Everyone will be screaming for his head, I'll renew my bet that he will still be the head coach in ten years, and no one will take me up on it.What happens when this guy goes 3/6?

Good, the Scobee drama is over. We can move on. It is concerning of no game experience. Not saying, but the last time we picked up a kicker from the scrap heap as a free agent he turned into one of the best. (Gary Anderson). Let's wish this kid well and hope that he can be a very solid to good kicker.
You new to the board or something? The Scooby topic is good at least until the end of the season.
Actually the last one we picked up with no experience was Reed. He turned pretty out good for awhile
I've been around for a long time....
We have given up a 5th and 6th round pick for 1 guy who doesn't play and another who contributed significantly to our losses.
I hope we are really god with picks 1-4.
