Steelers select WR Demarcus Ayers WR Houston

really thought he should stay at UH another year. He was their best WR and a good punt returner....maybe Brown can be retired from that job and Ayers can take over

Looks like Ayers has some throwing capability...

Coolie - How 'bout that?!!

Exicitng player...I bet Tomlin & Co. liked what they saw when they came here a few weeks ago, and no doubt HC Herman talked him up, too.

Now they need to take LB Elandon Roberts with their last pick, or signed him afterward. He's good.

Patriots drafted Elandon Roberts in the 6th

I picked him on a lot of mocks late. I thought that production in his last year was attractive.....

Roberts went to the patsies in the 6th

No question.

Maybe they'll sign Farrow. He's kind of plowhorse and different than the other backs on the roster.

After looking at his tape there is a lot to like about this guy, great hands, thick, great vision and elusive.

They sent out their special teams coach to talk about the guy. Says something about how they view him as a receiver. Still think he could contribute in the slot down the road.

if he is going to make the team it will be because of his PR skills...he will have to develop NFL level WR skills....

still love the pick though

I think AB missing that game exposed them in the return areas... they need a guy with reliable hands for that position... and you dont want AB returning punts coming off of a concussion unless he NEEDS to

That's a great highlight tape of that kid. How is it we've become so good at picking late round WRs? He could (could) be a gem.

The Temple game was hard on him. In the highlights I posted it shows a catch against Navy (1:58) where he has to dive for the ball, when he hit he injured his shoulder. He was able to come back in that game and was still effective, but it really seemed to hamper him against Temple.

i hope he has the motivation and work ethic of AB
