With the 60th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft the Steelers select James Washington from Oklahoma State

Washington can ball, but will he get enough balls with Brown and Ju-Ju? A BPA type of pick who will be our 3rd Wr for a while in round two.

Long arms, strong, productive, with football speed, but vs big 12 defenses. I would have went WR in round three and picked defense here, but Colbert really picks WR's well.
 
Reach, so we basically downgraded at WR. He has potential to be Limas with his drop problems.

We just stole one of the best WR's in this draft! This guy is a stud! Great hands and he's quick! He is going to create some mismatches underneath for any Defense!

The more I look back the better I feel about the trade. My only beef if you lost your deep threat, he should be replaced by a deep threat type, which Washington really isn't.
 
Well middle linebacker isn’t going to be addressed. Malik Jefferson should have been the pick.

one will play in packages on D -good tackler.
the other will play a lot with Juju and Antonio.
 
I hope he does well for us, I'm optimistic, I like his size, and at that size, will not be bumped off the ball or injured much. Plus he should be able to block

It's like watching a pitbull go out for passess. Short arms, small hands, stocky body, no elite speed, but he will fight for balls.

He adjusts really well to balls in the air. Makes adjustments that most receivers can't or don't make. His hand positioning is good, but unorthodox at times. He is a bit of a snatcher, meaning his hands aren't in position until the last moment to catch the ball. This lessens the time of his hands on the ball, so if he's bumped or defended, those balls will hit the ground. I think it also was the reason why he double caught balls. Steady hand positioning would help him make more clean catches.

Personally, watching his film, I think he benefits from his QB throwing him open. His deep ball receptions were perfect shots by Rudolph. And although he has good speed, it's the QB's arm that highlights his ability IMHO.

I could get excited about him being in the slot, but I'm not sure I like his hands enough to rely upon him catching those quick tough plays, every time. To me, this guy could go either way in the pros, he could be great, or he could be terrible. I see him as a boom or bust receiver.

I think the Steelers will put Juju outside and Washington in the slot...

He actually has really long arms. At 5-11 his arms are 32 3/8 same as DJ Chark, who's 6-4. And he has mits for hands, huge hands for his size, bigger than most WR in this class. Don't know where you got that info from, just wanted to point it out.
 
Who wrote that article? I read another one that said he has long arms to make up for his height.
