Week 1 Sept, 9 1:00pm ET: Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cleveland Browns Last year the Cleveland Browns finished the season 0-16. The Browns are division rivals and will face the Steelers twice during the season. The Steelers lead the series 74-58. Week 2 Sept 16, 1:00pm ET: Pittsburgh Steelers vs Kansas City Chiefs Kanas City Chiefs […]

Is that a typo in week 4? We do not lead the series 27-1.

Week 4

Sept, 30 8:20pm ET: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens finished the season last year with a 9-7 record, barely missing the playoffs. The Ravens were part of the Steelers division sweep last year, as they lost both games to the Steelers. The Steelers lead the series 27-1

If I'm looking correctly, Cleveland comes to the Burgh twice.

And what's with the cheats, are they now in the NFC north?

Leave it to cleveland to even **** up the schedule.

:cool-new:

This has to be in the Top 5 of hardest schedules in the NFL.

Its hard for two reasons.

1 ) The teams are pretty good, and we are facing some of the better QB's.

2 ) We suck at traveling west and have to play Broncos and the Raiders on the road.

Does anyone know why the Steelers blow so may games to bad teams in the west? Lack of focus? Not familiar with the teams?

I couldn't agree more.

I was listening to Ferrall on the Bench on CBS sports radio last night on my way home from work and they seemed to think it was one of the easiest based on our divisional opponents.

He's a Pittsburgh guy but I don't agree with them on this. On paper this looks like a damn tough schedule to me.

Hope they are ready for Cleveland the first week. Not looking ahead to anything else. Just one game at a time. If they do that, they should get Home field. But....should have been doing that for a few years now...

We better be ****** ready this time. If not for that miraculous 3rd and long catch by AB towards the end of the game...and that fumble recovery for a TD in the beginning, the outcome may have been different.

I personally think it’s middle to bottom of the easiest. Our division isn’t what it was a couple years ago and those teams don’t look to be any better. I know the draft hasn’t happened but I’m expecting to sweep our division or at worst split with Ravens and possibly Bengals. Outside of maybe Saints and Falcons I think we can beat them as well. Patriots have our number so until proven otherwise that’s L. Every team from the AFC West is middle of the road outside of Raiders and Chiefs but IMO both don’t scare me and expect to beat them but I will say we lose to the Raiders. So adding all that up I would say we end up 11-5 at the worst and think we will end up at 12-4. Injuries are a big part of the game but this is taking it as it is right now.

The second half is. The first half is the easiest. Kind of ironic?

Can't really foresee injuries, or a team simply having a better year or worse. So strength of schedule can really be deceiving.

Hopefully Ben and some of the leaders are more vocal and focused this year. With veteran leaders coming in as free agents on top of what we have on defense, there is no ceiling as to how hard we can play.
If we come out of the gate hard and fast (Ben’s pace), then we should be dominant leading up to week 10. That’s where the season starts (not disregarding divisional games) and that’s where the Steelers establish their seeding amongst everyone else at home. The object is to stay AT HOME.

I’m pumped. I hope to see fire in Ben’s eyes. They can do it. HEREWEGO.

Exactly. That and how the opponents actually play versus what everyone else expects. The Steelers look pretty good to start 2-0. After that is anyone's guess. Pittsburgh would do itself a good favor by taking all the winnable games and suffering none of those WTF losses. The tough opponents - Falcons, Patriots, Saints, Panthers, etc. - could really go either way, but we don't really know until the season begins. Something tells me that Tomlin will be Tomlin again in 2018. He won't change his ways and will continue to talk, talk, talk...

Because we don't have a head coach that can get the players prepped and focused.

Hoping to make the KC game. Miss my Pittsburgh family. Been way to long.

If you would quit fondling their goats every time, they'd invite you back more often.....................
