I'm expecting they will get Bud down a few $mil. Probably $6m-$7m/year. Unless a top OLB drops into their laps in the draft or they are already targeting an FA.

I don't like Chickillo, but I'll say this: if this move pushes Bud and his $9M price tag off the roster, I'll feel better about it. Get a better OLB in, keep Chick and Ola as depth and special teams, while saving some $$, I'm okay with that. Somehow I feel this won't have any effect on Bud at all.
