This is to all of the idiots who were proclaiming the Bungles to be THE RIVAL last year. The Rats are the rival, have been, and will remain such. It just doesn't get any better than what we saw today. Hard hitting, down to the wire, without the bullshit you get with Cincy. Nothing but respect for the Rats. What we saw today is everything that makes the NFL great. As always, when the schedule comes out, the first thing I look for are the games vs Baltimore.
 
yeah the rats are definitely the true rival.

I hate the Ravens...but I respect em.....they play the game the right way...not dirty, just hard physical football. They will give you their best each Pitt game. My hats off to them.

The Rats are well coached and they build their O and D lines with monsters.
That said, FAK them and their drunken knuckle dragging cretin fans.

Many Rats fans ARE from Southern Maryland. When I was stationed in Southern Maryland, they had a name for the locals ... SMIBS ... Stands for Southern Maryland Inbreds ... it was appropriate.
 
The Ravens had no business being in a playoff race this year and easily could have lost every game at the start of the season. They win and they win ugly without a lot of talent. Nearly did it again today. But yes, easily the best rivalry in the league and props to the Baltimore fan that tipped his hat to me and the Steelers after the game.

I really think this is because the the Rats are built to beat one team...the Steelers, thinking they need to beat the Steelers year in year out to win the division knowing the Bengals and Browns are usually doormats. You have to admit, since the Steelers became more of a passing team, they have struggled with the Ravens. Last night they got their ground game going and found a way to win.
 
Oh please let the Bengals keep Marvin for another 10 years and the Ravens dump Harbaugh and the Browns switch their coach every two years.
 
Who said the Bengals were our rivals? We went 0-2 vs a ****** Ravens squad last year. Records don't matter with rivals. Just hate and intense game play!

I will add that the 3 Cincy games were hard fight, dirty, competitive games that took you back to the 70s or 80s when you watched them.

The bungles want so badly to be like the Steelers by playing hard nose physical football, but they lack the talent so out of frustration they cheap shot to compensate...and it only gets them in trouble.

So badly in trouble it cost them a playoff game last year.

Best rivalry in the NFL right now. the NFL just broadcast its first playoff game! We won it. They lost it.

All this talk in the recent past about the bungles being the Steelers major rival was nonsense.

Yeah we hate the Rats , but respect them. We hate the bungles while having zero respect for them.

The all time series W/L record has the Steelers ahead of the Rats 25-21, a true rivalry, while the bungles remain the Steelers *******.
 
The Bungals are and will always be paper champions. The Ravens won their first SB with a lot of Clev. Browns players and then won a second as Marv and Dalton still haven't won a PO game.

Our games with BAL are mostly intense and hard hitting. The Bungals try to play the same way, but are a second-rate rival. They lose their heads easily. Not impressed with them.
 
The Bungles don't matter. That's the hard truth their fans can't accept. As a sports franchise, they simply don't matter.

Don't think it happens, but if Harbaugh ever gets canned, the browns have a dump truck full of cash backing up to his driveway within the 7 hours it would take to drive there.

"Rival" and "most hated" are not necessarily the same thing.
