agree that the line is not good at run blocking but Conner is not a feature back in the NFL. He just isnt, plus he is injured half the time anyway. I hope they dont extend him with a big contract. They can find somebody better. Heck. I like the McFarland kid.

Rat turds with the blue print of how to whip PIT and it is all because the OLine cannot run block. They just cant do it.
 
I just don’t understand the run philosophy. No pulling, no traps, no full back, 90% of the runs are to the outside out of the shotgun. None of this is a recipe for a successful run game, yet the Steelers keep doing it, failing and not changing. Ben is great, but the short throws are getting sniffed out. It’s gotta change. This offense looks completely impotent and stupid today against a team ravaged by COVID.

They do seem to excel at no-huddle though....Ben should just tell the Offense we're going 2 minute O.
 
Until they start running a mixed offense out of a run pass formation and stop telegraphing the intent to run they will not succeed regularly running the ball.

I really like and appreciate listening to Tunch, Wolf and Bill H call the game while watching the video on TV. Today the delay is only a couple seconds but even if it was a minute, it's worth it. Hoping Tunch will be able to be at the mic next year...What a great guy...
 
They need to start testing on the sidelines. We aren't prepared to play against this level of talent.

But it's a lack of execution. Kills me. It's bad coaching. Sorry. That's the truth
 
Let’s sum up the steelers gameplan for the day. Attack the ravens strengths .

on offense, let’s not even try running vs a team missing their best run stoppers. Instead let’s throw repeatedly at one of the best secondaries.

On defense, they really only have 1 play that RG3 is good at. Let’s just get beat by that play over and over and over again.
