The Pittsburgh Steelers made the decision to draft quarterback Drew Allar out of Penn State in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft. This decision had a ton of people talking because Allar at one point had many thinking he was the next big thing at quarterback. Then his 2025 college football season did not go as planned and it ended with a season-ending injury. Naturally, all of that combined and Allar’s stock became a major question mark. For new Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy, he drafted Allar because he liked his potential and believes he can fix him.
