San Diego is actually the nicest, cleanest & friendliest city in California (I know, might not be saying much). My boy SanDiegoSteeler knows what I'm sayin' though.

How long will he be on the list is it ten days?

I work with this every day. His isolation should be ten days from symptom onset (date of test for asymptomatic people) and with loss of fever and improving symptoms. So it’s 10 days minimum from symptom onset so long as fever is gone and symptoms are improving. This is for normal people. Not sure the symptom threshold for an NFL player to get a hat on Sundays.

Unless NFL has different requirements, I’m describing the CDC and health departments guidance.

Unfortunately, we can expect any players that came in close contact with him will have to quarantine and get multiple negative tests in a row before they can come back to the team. The Rats got most, if not all players back for the game. But, basically, we will have no practice this week. I think they can come back to the facility on Thursday or Friday with stricter protocols than normal. McDonald was ill on Friday just like the Rat player was ill last Wednesday. WTF is their testing protocol? Why wasn't he tested before the game with results in hand? The NFL has this testing protocol totally ****** up.

I really feel that the lack of Sunday Tests is about:
Not wanting to pull a player at the last minute for fear that false positive will create competitive disadvantage. And the betting line. I know people say every sniffle is not the corona virus ,however if you are sick you need to be symptom free for 48 hours and negative tested. I don't see how that time line matches up with him playing and practicing last week.
He came up on the injury list Friday as ill, yet travelled with the team on Saturday. That really doesn't work in my mind. The Steelers may end up in hot water here,

You can't just pull players from playing if they have a cough, runny nose.. that is the majority of players every winter. We won't even be able to field a team.
Either go off of the test results or end the season. The bottom line is, hardly any of these positive tests even show symptoms of having this virus. These players are not in serious danger if they get the virus and the league knows this.

DKPS reported today taht the tests during the week are rapid tests and the more accurate test is done sunday morning .

I recall Humphry in BALT found out after the game because the game morning test.

So, putting the pieces together, the NFL testing policy is tilted towards players going on Sunday with the most accurate test results not available until after Sunday games.

He was listed as ILL. If you call in sick where I work, you do not come back to work for 48 hours after symptoms disappear. Explain to me how this workplace is different. He had it. Now at least 3 or 4 more players will get it because he wasn't isolated for 48 hours.

Is your work administering rapid tests every day? Like I said, if you can't trust the results of these tests then what is the point? End the season then.

It can take time for the virus to show up in a large enough amount, to be Covid positive. Happened to Vance, and could have happened with Humph.

3 weeks on the road guys, and only one guy so far. That is pretty damn impressive, and the Steelers are doing something right! his roomate will be contact traced for sure.

Hawkins
Samuels
and Vince Williams are added as well.

Not sure if they are 10day or 5day contact tracing candidates

Ben, Vince williams, Jerald Hawkins and Jaylen Samuels now on the COVID list for 5 days.

Big Ben on the Reserve/Covid-19 list. WTF

Ben may not have practiced anyways. Not sure what this means for him in terms of getting treatment for his knees during the week as well.

Dobbs is going to get a hat for certain on Sunday. Maybe, just maybe Duck as well.

Hope Ben tests clean for 5 days and is good to go on Sunday. **** the Bungles, **** Covid, **** Ogre

First of all - I hope this is precaution and protocol for being exposed.

Silver lining - a week of rest should help the knee. Hopefully Ben will be fine. The D better do some extra reps with Burrow coming to town.

Yes, Vance is on 10 day positive, the rest are 5 day close contacts.
