The Pittsburgh Steelers traded for wide receiver DK Metcalf in the spring before the 2025 season. The front office wanted to add some more star power to the receiver room and traded a second-round pick and swapped late-rounders with the Seattle Seahawks to acquire the speedy deep threat. Pittsburgh then traded George Pickens to Dallas, leaving Metcalf the top option. He signed a four-year, $132 million contract extension with the Black and Gold following the trade, making him one of the highest-paid at the position. Metcalf had an up-and-down first season in the Steel City and will look to bounce back.
