I'm with you on 3 of the 4 for exactly the same reasoning,.
I swap out Webby for Franco.
The immaculate reception was the spark/defining moment/lucky bounce that changed decades of futility.

Very good point, and believe it or not I was conflicted between Franco and Webster.
Webster exemplified Steeler toughness, was the anchor of that offense playing a major role in the success of our elite passing and running game.

But yeah, Franco would easily belong for the reasons you mentioned.

Lambert would have been my second choice behind Greene.

A big part of difficulty to choose is the different ERA’s we span.

From 1970 - to - current, I think football went through 4 different ERAs of football / players / rules / ect..

Obviously there are the great ones of the past, but we do have great ones of more recent vintage as well.

Myself, I can’t narrow it down to just 4, so I don’t even try.

Take Kordell Stewart as an example. Most here think he sucked as a QB, but reality is he was probably our 3rd best QB all time (not suggesting a Mt. Rushmore place). Some of the top players of the past to present face that same kind of bias, again making it a hard choice to pick.
