Good news in my opinion.

I know the money isn't there but obviously we need to revamp the OL and get back to physical, punch them in the mouth Steeler football.

Promote Matt Canada. Dude builds offenses to match offensive talent.
 
If Canada becomes OC.... and its early to speculate... does that increase the odds of us retaining Conner?

Only if it also increases the odds of us bringing in someone through the draft or FA to actually compete with Conner for the position (I hope).

Fichtner needed to go, pretty plain and simple. I'm think OL coach as well.


If Canada is promoted then I hope SBWCMVLT keeps his hands off for the most part. I also hope a new OC is named VERY soon.

Bruce Gradkowski seems to be advocating for Jim Caldwell.

They need to hire someone that has decades of Madden experience.
 
Hire Adam Gase right now on the spot! You crazy? Best offensive coordinator in footballl! He’s coached old qbs, young qbs, beat us with Tim Tebow for *** sake. His offense can run the ball too he had a no name running back put up 200 yards on us! 200! Send tomlin to beg him to sign! Have him sign Ron milus for the secondary coach while he’s at it! Go Steelers!!!
 
The key point here is that Tomlin didn't even fire him. They just politely thanked Randy for his time and said they won't be renewing his contract.

I feel as though Mike may have blinked... again.

No to Caldwell! (as if my vote counts) We had to suffer with him for 7 years as HC of Wake Forest. His record was 26-63. That dismal performance somehow got him a coaching job with the Colts. He is dismal.
