Steelers missed curfew Per Mark Madden

Go ahead and blame Tomlin, but injuries are like playing Jenga. Sure you can pull out 6 or 7 pieces and the structure is still sound, but you start pulling the bottom pieces and it makes for a quick game. Ben is a bottom piece, as is Heyward. The Tower was bound to topple, and it did in Miami...

Wait?

You mean losing our best players on defense, and playing with a hobbled QB, was the reason that we lost? Noooooo- it cant be THAT simple.

It has to be something more elaborate.... Lets start spitballing some ideas:

-Strippers
-Practices are too hard
-Practices are too soft
-A. Brown is a diva
-Art Rooney sux
-Tomlin, well, because its Tomlin

You had me at strippers.

And of course if Tomlin would off sat said culprits and we lost exactly how we did. There would of been no praise for taking a stand it would of been he's a idiot for costing us the game for sitting those players. And anyone who says other wise is a liar

Complete ******* bullshit.

Your strawman is not the reality for all others.

Am I lying?

So you're saying no one would of called him a Dumbass for sitting said players in a loss. FOH. Yes you're lying

When he sat RBs for fumbling he was called a Dumbass and blamed for the loss..

If they had won the game would Madden even had bothered to mention it?

So fed up with this crap coming from Tomlin's teams...Get it buttoned-up or leave. If you want championships, then act like you are in the BUSINESS of winning championships.

From the time you get on the plane to the time of the end of the game you are on official company time. You go nowhere without us knowing. After the game you can choose to catch a later flight but you are expected to represent the team and subject to discipline.

Wop dee do! They won a playoff game. Is that the standard now? They lost the next week though, one reason being that they were on the road. Why were they on the road? Well, certainly Ben's missed time last year had a lot to do with it, but also his **** lousy performance in Baltimore, for example, played a role.

He is a jackass. The practice comments are almost laughable now in light of the performance on Sunday. We have to hear about how he is a big part of the game plan all the time. Well, if that is the case, I saw a game plan on Sunday in which when stuff wasn't working, they had no ability to adjust. They seemed to just quit. As much as the coaches are responsible for that, if the QB is a big part of the game planning, why isn't he? And I will tell you, I am just sick and tired of his comments on his injuries. Real tough guys don't have to tell you all the time how tough they are. Knock it off.

2005 called me. He disagrees with you...

Thank god it was a measly regular season game it could of been the AFC championship and they could of all been out making a video..

I wondered if this might have been the case, not necessarily a strip club, but did the players treat the trip as a mini-vacation?

Timmons puking all over the field tells you all you need to know.

Next week the Ravens catch up and the week after that they take the division and the Bengals come even.

Well played fellas. Well played. Hope them's were some nice tittays.

I'm honestly tired of reading/hearing about this unprofessional stuff with this franchise.

This goes well beyond Tomlin, though he deserves a lot of blame.

Art II is NOT his father or grandfather.

This is going to become really evident once Ben retires. I can seriously see the Steelers becoming the Browns after that.

No, that is unlikely to happen. We were never the Browns prior to Ben. We won't get that bad; that really takes a special, heroic effort.

Young, NFL players with pockets full of cash, in South Beach, coming from western PA. Yea, I'd say partying was on the mind.

Meh in 94 or 95 there were rumors ben was out super late and hung over for a near loss where he sucked... And that was under cowher...

Ben was out late in 7th grade?

I've said for years...if they don't care, why should we?

I care...and that's on me.

Yea, sometimes I feel that way. There is no reason we should care more than the players do.

You play football every week but how often do you get to see Miami strip bar titties?

I thought it was the heat & humidity in FLA. . .
That was before the report came out about members staying out and partying the night before the game...

I thought it was the heat & humidity in FLA. . .

Timmons went to school at Florida State...he knows the heat

..and having played 11 years in Florida (as a kid), I never once puked on the field, dude was hungover or sick...or whatever

Yeah, but Ben gets a pass because he was only 11 then.

I know. I know. Funny how the years fly by isnt it?

This was one of the games I wanted to hop on a plane and go see. You know, sun, sand, beach, bikinis,Steelers. Thank god I did not. If this IS true it had better come out. Think of all the Steelers faithful that spent big $$$$$ to see this game.

One of those would be me!

Dan was still running things when Ben was drafted.

I just do not trust Art II as much.

We'll see how it plays out over the next 5-10 years, but I'm starting to think we finally have a suspect owner of the Steelers, one riding on the reputation of his family.

Time will tell.
