Sometimes the greats are arseholes.
There's a movie called The Best of Times starring Kurt Russell and Robin Williams.
In it, Williams' character and another guy on the team both make references to Russell playing/being better when he was an arsehole.

“Oh!!!! He’s wearing the white shoes! And the crowd goes wild!!!

“When Remo was a prick, he was the best QB in South Kern Co.”

Very under appreciated movie by Russell and Williams.
