We can all shut the **** up at this point. We've - collectively - been doubting this team all year, yet here we are, smack dab in the playoff hunt.

Three games left, Bengals, Ravens, Browns.

The playoffs are there for the taking.

Last 3-4 weeks this defense - the much-maligned and criticized Keith Butler defense - is ranked top 3 in every category.

Our weakest link - the defensive secondary - has been making plays, led by our two rookies - Artie Burns and Sean Davis.

I am so impressed - surprised, but impressed - by the Steelers D this past month.

We all know, it is the defense that will take us to the promised land.

I like our chances.

Definitely feels like a different squad these days. The Luck less Colts and Browns? Color me unimpressed. That giant hand was another story though. Definitely seem to be absolutely heating up going into the playoffs

For the better or worse I keep thinking of that Cowboys game. We were minutes - seconds? - away from beating that team. The supposed front runner in the NFC. Losing that game sucked, of course, but it came down to a play or two, at the end. The way the team came back from that loss tells me we're in a pretty good place. Same goes for losing Big Cam. I love the resolve the team has shown, and yes, Mike Tomlin deserves plenty of credit.

I'm sorry, I told all of you to plug your seeping vaginas a few weeks ago, and pointed out that we were 45 seconds from beating the team with the best ******* record in football at the time, and well, lookie there, here we are, right where I said we'd be, with the chance to take the division from the Rats. You'd think after that wild card run back in the early 2000's some of you ******* would learn, but it just might be some of you are SLOW ******* learners. Here we go Steelers, here we GO!

…“and we will win, and you will win, and we will keep on winning, and eventually you will say we can’t take all of this winning, …please Coach T …and I will say, NO, we will win, and we will keep on winning”.

Little too early for chest bumps. Three games left and little margin for error. And there is a little matter of doing something significant even if they make the playoffs.

One game at a time peeps. We will see how it unfolds.........

While I fully agree, our fate lies in our own hands now. Win out and we're in.

You can best believe that every team in contention is watching is closely because we truly are picking up steam and the entire team looks to be focused on "getting to the dance" and picking up the slack of each other, each unit, when one falters...

I'm on board this Amtrak riding it all the way...🤗😆🤓

We look great. We particularly look great when we are playing on the road. Right now, nobody on our roster is looking better away from the friendly confines of Heinz Field than one Big Ben Roethlisberger. As long as he can limit himself to no more than 3-4 interceptions per away outing, I don't think there is anyone in the league that can beat us. Who wants some?

One game at a time...

I think the difference in the defense is most specifically, James being full time now, Sean Davis getting comfortable, Bud getting healthy, and Mike Mitchell playing some damn good ball(I've been on him all year for playing sub par). Just really impressed with the DL stepping up and following Tomlin's "next man up" attitude.

Keep it going boys!

Mike Mitchell takes way, way too much abuse from the fanbase. He's been quite solid the past 2 seasons.

If the seeding maintains the Steelers would host the Broncs.
Hope so.

Denver's final three opponents have a combined 31 wins, they could miss the playoffs all together. I hope the kill Brady though.

"Doubting this team all year" I realize you're just trying to make a point, but that doesn't make this any less factually incorrect. After the first 5 weeks, I think we all imagined a 15-1 season...then the Dolphins happened. Then the Patriots, Ravens, Cowboys...THAT'S when the doubting started, and I don't think it was without justification.

I'm cautiously optimistic. Ben had a terrible game, but of course, Bell was able to overcome that single-handedly. Does anyone think we can escape the Ravens if Ben has an equally bad game?

I fully expect Ben to play very well that game. It's at home where he has played pretty all year long. We need Ben to give us a solid game this weekend though, can't turn the ball over especially in the RZ.

You do have to hand it to the coaches: they listened and made changes. By running more getting a lead eating the clock the young defense can play downhill more, blitzing more and taking more chances to create turnovers. Butler was stinking it up with his rotations. we are getting to where we need to be. ALL THE WAY UP!!!!!!!

There you go again...

The Ravens? They have to play the Bengals last I checked. In Cinci.

If they lose that game then the Ravens game becomes a pretty serious deal. Win it and the Ravens have all the pressure in the world on them. Let's just hope the Steelers focus very very intently on the Bengals this week rather than do what WE'RE doing and start thinking about the Ravens.
