Hope Pickett is OK but still not sure how he ended up with a concussion. The hit wasn't much to his midsection. His head didn't look like it hit the ground on the replay. I just saw nothing there. I was surprised they were evaluating him for a concussion. Hopefully, he is back next week. A starter doesn't lose his job due to an injury so Tomlin better not play musical QB's. If Pickett can practice once and clears protocol, he should start.

I think Mitch can make a throw here and there, but starting a whole game we have seen what he is. If Tomlin goes with Mitch now even if Kenny is cleared that sends a terrible message. I don't think he does it.

It did. It whipped backwards and hit. That is an easy way to get a concussion. Not the hit as much a as the change in momentum.
 
I tell ya, Mitch is truly a classy person. His post game interview with Pam Oliver was nothing but class- team first. I will be honest, I think Pickett needs to play as soon as he can, but I think Mitch is first class. Not all QBs would react the way he has. Proud of him.
 
I am not sure Pickett could have overcame the bad snap and 3rd and 11. Those were clutch throws. I would still stick w/ pickett though to get him experience and he has not looked terrible. It all just comes down to playcalling
