The Pittsburgh Steelers were a part of some of the biggest headlines of the NFL offseason, as former head coach Mike Tomlin decided to step down from his role after the 2025 season came to a close. Tomlin walked away the day after his team was eliminated from the postseason, and the front office embarked on a search for the franchise's next head coach almost immediately. Eventually, the organization landed on Mike McCarthy, who happens to be a native of Pittsburgh. The hire was not very popular at first, but the fan base seems to be coming around after some offseason additions and the coaching staff being built out.
