Steelers - Jagoff game thread

Quick adjustments


Offense More 2 TE set's. Get Conner and Ben going. Take #13 out. Stay away from Ramsey, unless its a double move called play.

Defense 4-3, with a safety in the box, make the stiff pass. He can't. Play less nickel unless its 3rd and long.
 
Team is so good they didnt need any prep time for this one. That's why Tomlin gave them off until Wednesday.
 
Doesn't matter what adjustments the coaches make. Ben is not smart and is terrified of the Jags D. Expect more of the same. Over/under on second half picks ......2.

Sounds good. I switched to a Deschutes HopHenge IPA. I expect good things will happen soon.
 
This is typical Ben play, peaks and chasms. He plays just like this EVERY TIME he has a monster game, give or take a week.

Good point but I thought he was starting to show signs of slowing up last week, before he got hurt.

He got proper credit for 5 straight wins and for turning team around from a 1-2-1 start. For keeping the team focused on winning instead of the Bell saga or AB's off the field problems. For firing Haley and letting Fichtner do his job. For a fantastic draft last year that has paid huge dividends this year.

Ben looks like ****...period.

I don't remember seeing anyone giving Tomlin props after every TD Ben threw last week. Must have missed that. But I sure was seeing a whole lot of "Tomlin, Tomlin, Tomlin" after almost every crappy over/under throw and INT in the first half.
I mean, I understand that it comes with the HC territory... but C'mon some of that whining was ridiculous.
 
If the JAGS are smart they will do nothing but run in the second half and keep the Stillers O off the field. I believe if they do that this game is over. Hopefully they come out passing.
 
Nobody open. They knew the route and were there before our guys.
 
Yeah, I doubt we're winning today. No tempo to this offense at all.
 
Well, today just isn't our day. Our offense just isn't going to contribute, the defense won't be able to hold up all day the way they did through the first half. It's a shame, we had a shot for home field too. Save the rah rah stuff, I already know it's coming.
 
They just wasted that drive. Unless the D gets some points we are finished.
