By Jessica Costello SteelerNation.com The NFL Draft is less than two weeks away, which means teams should be pretty certain by now on what position they’re looking to draft. The Pittsburgh Steelers*are adamant about not needing to draft a quarterback April 23rd-25th. Just about everyone in the organization including head coach Mike Tomlin, President Art […]

I don't think that is the direction they will go but wouldn't be upset at the pick in the third, like some fans would.

I am for a wide range of BPA that late in the draft. Which is like picking in the 4th round.

What I love about the Steeler's organization the most is how they treat their players and the player's families. Sometimes it makes the tough decisions that much more difficult to make such as in the case with Mason and Duck. It is what it is...or in MT lingo, the standard is the standard.

Jessica, nice informative write up..thank you.

I see and hope an OL for one of the first two picks, provided he is starter capable and NOT a project. Our first three picks can NOT be a project player. BPA is a good thing and we are in that position.

We don't need a quarterback! We have a 38 year old coming off a season ending injury and four proven talents on the bench competing to see which two suck the least. We're all set.

Bermuda is still praying for Jalen Hurts (comp 3rd round pick). Especially now that I'm hearing the *'s are targeting him...

I'm w/ DIC - I'd like OL w/ #49 or if a stud RB is there I'll take that too.

If available still in the 3rd when we pick I think it would be great value. I completely understand both sides of the arguments. IF Ben comes back then we have nothing to worry about for the next 2-3 years. IF he is a shell of himself then we have nobody behind him to take the reigns. Last thing I want to do is end up like we did back in the 80's-90's. Pretty sad when Neil O'Donnell and Kordell Stewart were the highlights of those teams.
