The Pittsburgh Steelers are in the midst of going through some monumental changes to begin the 2026 offseason, and it all started with former head coach Mike Tomlin stepping down after being eliminated from the playoffs. This sent the organization on its first search for a head coach in nearly two decades, and the franchise landed on Mike McCarthy as its new hire. He is a Pittsburgh native, but many within the fan base have not been too thrilled since the announcement of McCarthy getting the job. Fans have to give him a chance, but most people were hoping the franchise would move in a different direction.
