The Pittsburgh Steelers were one of the more dominant teams in the NFL throughout the 2000s and early-2010s. The franchise appeared in three Super Bowls and won two of them, and the team was considered a legitimate contender pretty much every season after Ben Roethlisberger came in at quarterback. This led to Pittsburgh forming a few different rivalries within the AFC as it seemed to always be the same teams competing for the right to represent the conference in the Super Bowl. It was nearly always Pittsburgh, the Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens, or the New England Patriots.
