Steelers Get Revenge Matchup With Jacksonville Next Sunday

Looked like short underneath routes were there today. The new and improved Bryant, and JuJu should be able to take advantage of that.

Don't throw 5 picks.
Prevent the big play and we should be able to take care of business.

We don’t run those routes. Except at the goal line. I wish we would.

As long as the Steelers avoid turnovers, they should win, but it's hard to be overconfident given how well the Jaguars can play defense and the Steelers' tendency to get shredded by mediocre QBs.

Despite his struggles, Blake Bortles is every bit as capable as the likes of Jacoby Brissett, Brett Hundley and Deshon Kizer.

Those last 3 guys were 0-4 against us. Don’t give a **** about stats, as long as we have more points.

Yeah, the Jags fans are pretty obnoxious. I had one in my ear as soon as the final gun sounded. Many feel like they are already the next NFL dynasty. To hear them talk, no one would ever know they were 3-13 last year. SMH

I'm always a.smart ***. So I get a kick out of it. I just have to keep an eye out that some two bit **** bag doesn't key my car.

The Colts, Packers and Browns do not have the Jaguars defense.

If the Steelers allow Bortles to complete long passes, they'll probably lose

Well one thing is certain.....Blake Bortles is a terrible ******* QB. If we loose this game we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Take out their running game and make them one dimensional!

They don’t beat us twice. It took one of Bens worse games of his career to beat us first time. We are a better team now than then. Bortles is the worst qb in the playoffs.

That's pretty much it. Seriously the Steelers have no business losing to that team period. The OL needs to be on its game and if Ben is on his game this need not be a nail biter.

Bortles is playing like crap, but how often have we assumed that QB X will not be able to do anything against the Steelers only to watch said QB have a career-type game?

It shouldn't happen, but we've seen it happen too much to assume anything.

all day off the edge.

He’ll yea! Put 31 on spy duty too when not rushing off the edge. Against Jax could get 3-4 sacks.

This is not the same team that faced the Jags in week 5, and Ben is definitely not the same QB. If Ben plays against the Browns he more than likely has the same number of TD passes as Brady and wins the passing title. At the end of week 5 Ben has 6 TD passes 7 int's and 1368 yards, Brady has 11 TD's and 1 pick along with 1702 yards, end of season. Ben has 28 TD's 14 Int's and 4251 yards, Brady has 32 TD's 8 int's and 4577 yards and Ben sits the last week. If not for a blown TD call we are on a ten game winning streak. NO this is NOT the same team the Jags saw in week 5.

EVERY team in the playoffs should be afraid of us not the other way around. IF the Pats get past the Titans they will be ******** themselves by half time of our game Sunday. The only way we don't win it all this year is Because the fix is in for the cheats, We have the best QB, Best Wide out, Best RB, and the Best team in football. WE ARE THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS!!!!!!!!!

Al
Riveron.

Thinking getting by the P*ts will be easy for anyone is thinking with a child's simplicity.

The players and coaches know what they've got to do. Us fans can say what ever we want but it won't matter as the players are battle tested and ready to play and at HOME..!!!! Should the AFCCG not be played in PITTSBURGH then those CHEATRIOTS had better worry as this team won't let it come down to a review call.

Jaxsonville better be eating their weather and everything else that can make them faster v/ stronger / sharper and they will need it by the tons and still won't be able to keep up. This is the STRONGEST team Pittsburgh has had at this time of the season than they've had in a long time. They are stronger without Harrison and I think the coaching staff recognized the urgency now, maybe a New Year's Eve set back but that's an addition by by subtract who is on traction (hip). Pittsburgh will come to play and Jax had best be worried.

Salute the nation

**** the team from Foxboro. We're not playing them this week. Hell, they may not get past the Titans. The Titans are a young team and haven't had to face the bullshit the team from Foxboro pulls to win. Thus, the Titans will not be intimidated. Additionally, they have bought into the LeBeau defense and hopefully Dick will get that elusive playoff win over Tom Terrific and Hoody.

Assuming we beat the Jags (I believe we will), then the media will have a story to discuss in how long-time Hall of Famer Defensive Co-ordinator LeBeau left the Steelers under less than desirable conditions and has returned to face the coach he helped get to two championship games.

as for the Jags, if it's cold, then you must force them to pass. I believe we'll be doubling up on Fournette to take away the run game.

Offensively, I would prefer to see a healthy dosage of Bell mixed in with some short quick passes to AB and Juju. Realistically, I see Ben dropping back 50 ******* times and Bell getting less than 20 carries.

Their run defense can be had, if we get the ball in Bells hands 25 times between rushing and dump offs we win. Load the box and stop the run for them, the offense I saw today for them is trash. I'm not overconfident because I've been around too long for that nonsense. But frankly, Buffalo could have beat them and none of their offensive skill position starters play for us other than McCoy. Not start, play for us. No excuses.

This Steelers team now is now a more focused team than they were in week 5. IMO, the whole team was very distracted during the height of the on field national anthem protests. All that is behind them now and will concentrate on playing Steeler football.

In a world of sweet karma the Titans may lose but I have a feeling Brady doesn't survive the game
