The Pittsburgh Steelers have their entire fan base locked in on what this new direction is going to look like now that Mike McCarthy has taken over as head coach. After years of falling short in the postseason under Mike Tomlin, the frustration has built to a point where simply being competitive is no longer enough. Steelers fans are used to championship expectations, and going more than a decade without seriously being in the Super Bowl conversation has clearly worn thin. That’s why this transition feels different. There’s real pressure on McCarthy to deliver right away, and 2026 is shaping up to be a defining year for where this organization is headed.
