If he doesn't show up until week ten, I suspend him for the rest of the season for conduct detrimental to the team. We will have learned to live without him by then.
If he doesn't sign I doubt you can suspend a unsigned player...

Wonder if you can switch the tag from exclusive to non-exclusive before July 16th. I think they need to allow him to negotiate with other
teams, so he can see his value around the league. If someone wants to pay him, take the 2 first round picks and say good luck.

We've averaged 25 ppg with him and we've averaged 25 ppg in the 21 or however many games he's missed.
Everyone says you don't get anything by cutting him lose, you get 14.5 million in cap space

No matter what happens with Bell, we need to sign a LB, and draft one in round 1 if there's one there. You have to assume Shazier won't play again, and this is Williams last season under contract. We could (Steelers) could buy a FS and a ILBer with the savings in free agency. Draft a RB in 1 and call it a day.

They'll get a 3rd round comp pick. What team would give better than that in a trade? He's a RB that's had multiple seasons cut short by suspensions and IRs that wants almost double the market value per season for his position. On top of that, he's been ran ragged when they've had him healthy. He's a great back, don't get me wrong. He catches passes well on check downs and is a great pass blocker too but at this point in his career, you proceed with caution. I can't imagine any GM in the league giving up a 1, 2, or 3 for him when you can draft better value. The FO made the smart move in locking up AB instead. Not the best for the organization unless you trade that value. That is provided you can't get him to sign. It is a fail with anything less.

Don't forget Townsead! You didn't hear? We're trading Mitchel, and throwing in Fu , to the Browns so we can grab Barkly. This is old news

This is absolutely the truth and guess what............We would be a better team too !!!!!!! There is no guarantee to fully replace Bell but you don't need to. You need to replace about 80% of what he does. The other players on the team will compensate the rest. Our team is amazing on offense with the player power we have and can survive without Mr. Bell. Our "D" needs the help and slash has a great example of getting that help. Thanks

By getting rid of Bell you not only get the cap space but you get rid of part of the "me first" locker room cancer that has been apart of this team for the last handful or more seasons. In my opinion anyways.
THIS, it would be nice if they could let Mr.Bell negotiate a trade offer to see the market value of this ONCE in a GENERATION talent............ I'm for getting a value out of him because I don't think his heart will be in this coming season.

You don’t think they will get value out of him Drink? Why would a player De-Value themselves by playing down or not to get hurt. It’s not like he’s a WR or defensive player, with limited touches or splash plays. He’s as a RB is in the category with QBs. Production on a contract year, produces big results. His next contract is going to be based on his previous year results.
