Steelers-Fish Sunday at 1

Oakland-Houston, Saturday at 4:35
Detroit-Seattle, Saturday at 8:15

Steelers-Dolphins, Sunday at 1
Giants-Green Bay, Sunday at 4:40

What a terrible time slot.. then if we win, we get that same damn time the following week. Awful.

Out of curiosity, why do you feel so strongly this way? I would rather have a Sunday then Saturday, just a little extra time for players to heal, get ready. Pretty normal time for them to play, is it not? I like day games as well.

I just did not want the late Sunday so I am ok with it...preferred either time on Saturday though. Is Lions/Seahawks really worth a prime time game slot?

Good point.. we might need an extra day to get some players healthy...

I just prefer the late night Saturday spot, I feel like the home field advantage is better at night too. I'm just not a big fan of the early starts on Sunday. I like the 4:30 kickoffs.

All and all.. I'll take any spot, just glad we're in the tournament.

And the AFC Championship game. should be the late game. seeing as the NFC had it last year. I believe this rotates every year.

I'm driving back from Pit after the game, so the 1pm slot works perfectly for me!

I like it, normal game time, and the extra day off

just don't come out half *** timid, balls to the wall from the start, like it's the final 2 minutes, spread them out and attack them all over the field.

I demand 40 points, because I don't think this defense can stop anything

Crap!! I wanted any other time slot.

STINK! Being on the West Coast and having a full Sunday morning means that I have to DVR the game and watch after we get home. Most people know not to discuss early morning scores with me... but still. I was hoping for a Saturday night game.

Oh well... at least we have the three B's available on offense. It still makes me wonder what we would be like if we had our actual FULL complement on offense.

.

That Saturday line up is not going to help slow down the NFL ratings decline.

Talk about terrible product. I guess they just wanted to get it all out of the way. Quickly.

Too bad the stench will continue next week when the winner of Oak v. Houston goes to NE

I don't care who's playing if the NFL can't get people to watch the playoffs they have some problems

perfect, JUST the slot I was hoping for. Especially considering it took them nearly an extra full quarter to beat the Sadness yesterday.

CMT should have went for two..................

Salute the nation

If CBS and DTV don't get their act together, I might have to "go on the road " to watch this game. Both the local Fox and the CBS networks were blacked out this week but Fox settled today. CBS has not settled and if they don't, the NFL Package won't even have the game in this area....*^&%*.

DirecTV’s press release referred to the current period as a “brief interruption” and to negotiations as ongoing, saying, “While we regret Diversified Communications’ action, we appreciate DirecTV customers’ patience as we work toward a resolution that will continue to result in their enjoying the best video experience at the most reasonable cost.”

I looked closer. Their late losses rats and patriots. You follow that blue print and 30 points should get you a win. Perhaps even 24...but this O needs to start reaching maximum capability. Moving forward if it wants to achieve the big prize.

They dropped NBC at midnight on NYE. No game last night, which I didn't really care, but they better not lose a Steelers game.

You are correct.

Yes, I believe that is the case because they use unusual kickoff times for those, so west coast teams (and more importantly fans) aren't playing or watching at 10 am. Those kick at like 3/6:30.

I think the big thing is that they have the same slot 2 weeks in a row. No short week to go to KC.

I can't recall, but when was the last time we played an early afternoon game in the PO? We usually are 4:30 or the night game. I'm fine with a 1pm start because waiting for it all day drives me crazy!

Freakin' Pats have a cakewalk to the AFCCG. The Raiders sure got screwed with injuries. KC at Arrowhead will be a battle. Let's fry some Fish first, though!
