Steelers fans fighting

I'm not sure that warrants assault. Now invading someone's space and talking in matter that would indicate they intend to harm you. Then take them out by all means.

Yeah if that dude was pointing his finger in his face touching him or something similar, I'd understand someone wanting to defend themselves. THAT was not someone defending themselves. That was embarrassing.

Lamar Woodley was still on the team. My cousin knew Casey Hampton. He got us tickets. It was like 7 years ago.
 
BTW been to many many games. The fights some of you experienced aren't common. They do happen here and there, it was just your unlucky day. The rude fan on the other hand, probably more common. But not a every game thing either. Hit and miss. Don't let that distract you from going, and having a good time.

I don't think the smaller guy was drunk, he reacted to quickly to the fat body aggressor then put together a couple of well placed punches. Drunk fights are sloppy disorganized sheet shows.
 
Too many people use sporting events as a reason to get wasted and engage in bad behavior. They get so wasted before the games they can't even get into the stadiums. This "fight" isn't unusual, there are altercations at all football events. Season ticket holders risk losing their seats but occasionally it's the morons who obtain the tickets through exchanges or sold by the owner that wind up costing that owner his privilege.
Sad but irresponsible people walk among us.

This is pathetic. The guy on the left ( who head butted ) was much younger and bigger.

Ever notice how these sloppy drunk fights seldom feature guys the same size and age?

I hope the authorities ban the instigator. Also, was this set up by the attacker’s friend or was a stranger just filming it for the heck of it?

For reasons unknown I seldom see fights at baseball, basketball or hockey games. It’s usually football.

I was sitting in the Club Seats at Heinz Field and they kicked a guy out for flatulence.

Another form of talking ****.

Well the members of this board are fans of the same team and look at some of the back and forth bickering that goes on here...you know they wanna punch each other in the face!

I'd like to think it would all be different if this was all in person. Everyone just wants the team to win. Winning cures everything. I personally get along with everyone in all walks of life. I may not agree with them,but we at least share a common thread that binds in sports. It can be a great unifier.

that's really going over the line when someone has to sink to going after a child. I hate drunks. I would rather stay home and watch it on my TV. I don't need the whole fan experience anymore. Too much money and too many hassles to deal with.
 
I had a Charger fan get in my face after this game. I had nothing to do with him and no interaction beforehand. I told the guy to get the **** off of me. Been to 20+ NFL games, 3 times now I've had a Charger fan put their hands on me. Go **** yourselves San Diego

OMG. That is sickening. If I was weaning my a Steelers jersey in the seat next to him and saw that, I'd stop him.
 
Sickening to see a so called member of the nation chocking a pregnant woman- fan should be banned for life and charged.
Agree with all the comments about the drunks , I travel to a lot of away games and will not go back to
Oakland
Miami
Philly
Buffalo

I am not paying good money to see my team to only watch fights, get screamed at, told to F off the entire game

Although my favorite harmless drunk fan story is from Heinz at this past Jax playoff game in 8 degree weather
5 minutes before kick Steeler fan staggers to his seat on the aisle across from my aisle seat, he is bald, has no headwear and a thin jacket ,no gloves.
At kick, he pukes and it freezes
He passes out til halftime and staggers out
I laughed at him the whole time thinking how much did he pay for his ticket-- what a waste

On the positive side, he missed the Jacksonville Playoff game.
 
What is very interesting is that these fights happened in the high dollar ticket areas (as I guess buying a $300 ticket) really doesn’t matter now so a so called Steeler fan will try to choke a lady in the front row just like they would in the nosebleeds. I hope they ban them and revoke ticket privileges forever.

My buddies and I came up last year to see the Titans play on Thursday night on the way to our annual college football trip as I had never been to a game at Heinz Field before.

I had my Steeler Hoodie on and my buddies had their Titans gear on and everyone around us were drinking and poking fun. The game was over and they wanted to head to the exits and I warned him about the walk of shame and they got it pretty good walking down from the upper deck. I was laughing.

The fans in Pittsburgh in my experience with friends with opposing gear on was NOTHING like an Oakland, Philly, or Cincy where I would never take my friends, family or kids.

In Philly the people ( or fans at the game ) are just nasty. Oakland is like a gang war zone.
