Steelers - Eagles preseason game thread

Anyone going LIVE on Steeler Nation? Cope? Bueller? Bueller?

Loved a few of those running plays late in the 4th. Those are new. Very smooth. Whomever that dude was running the ball to close it out, moves like a cat. Nice vision too.

Only thing I care about this whole preseason is the OL and our running game.

I don’t think that was ever in doubt with what they spent on him

I know what you're saying but NO ONE HERE wanted to take a flyer out on him when he was drafted. was a little bit of an unknown so I'm glad he is panning out and with Tuit's issue we need him a little more to succeed to help until Tuit is full speed. Nice to see his success.

I think we have depth right now, but im worried a bit about the starters gelling in time… they are off kilter especially on defense.. they keep muddling substitutions and coverages

I don't care the level of competition, lack of conditioning etc., they opened lanes and actually ran the football competently.

That's a win in my book.

Does anyone worry about the team speed the Steelers have… I think they have a lot of quick players, but i mean pure speed there is really only claypool…

I agree, we don't have a stable of sprinters on this squad. Let's hope we push, shove & lumber our way into the playoffs, cause we're not gonna get there on a wind sprint.

Devin Bush was a legit 4.3 guy prior to the knee injury. Who knows if that's still the case.

Elite speed is a nice asset to a team, but I'm not really sure how essential it is in the grand scheme of things.

Obviously, depending on his position, a player needs a minimum amount of speed to be successful, but it's only part of the equation.

Though they are not absolute burners, I would not consider the likes of Diontae Johnson or Fitzpatrick slow by any stretch.

I do worry about the speed at CB though.

I wanted to go live, but I was traveling for work and my internet was ****.

Tried to rally the SN writers to pick up the slack, but everyone had plans...
