I mean part of it is that he was drafted When people didnā€™t want a qb draftedā€¦ which is idioticā€¦ if you think a talent at qb is available you take them.. period

secondly he didnā€™t immediately have a giant impactā€¦ i mean he had relatively great numbers after his first few starts for a first time starter, but people donā€™t watch anything but home games and star players so they donā€™t know that

thirdly the fitchner offense was a very short yardage scheme and people blamed Rudolph for that

and finally he fights backup qb syndrome since he has competed with Dobbs, Hodges, and Haskinsā€¦ all who are fan favorites for various reasons

Haskins still led a drive, something Rudy failed to do.
 
The Eagles don't know how to play Flacco's game, which is throw an uncatchable ball near a receiver who is near a defender and get your yards on the PI penalty.
 
How big of a homer is this announcer guy...give it a rest dude

Exactly. Absolutely no reason to put much of anything on film in a practice game. They'll have the element of surprise early in the year. At least I hope so.
 
Whatever motivational techniques Tomlin is playing with Dotson should come to a close after this game. I don't care if they're not happy with him, he's still their best option at LG. They need to get him working with the starters.
 
There is something wrong with Robert Spillane....he is not 100%. The move to get Schobert is a good move! Our entire Defense has looked MEH at best tonight. Seeing Edmunds & Sutton both lack of effort on that 79 yd screen pass by Flacco for the TD was disturbing to say the least but Norwood needs to make that tackle. That being said it was definitely a lowlight on the Defense tonight. Jamir Jones looks to be one of the few brigh spots Defensively tonight. On offense I'll say it....Haskins looks good....he made a couple really nice throws....did miss a wide open Receiver on his first 3rd down play as he scrambled to his left....he needs to make those completions. Hope he keeps improving and keeps his head out of his *** in the future too. On the O-line it looked like Kendrick Green had a rough time tonight. I will say I'm impressed by Kevin Dotson....he looks good to me....not sure why the coaching staff was so hard on him....Hassenhauer looks pretty good on the 2nd team too. 2nd team O-line getting good push tonight.

I am starting to think Spillane is just a guy and had some good plays playing over his head and we gave him too much credit. He is just too slow. I donā€™t even think he is hurt.

Yes, absolutely. Lets see him get reps against the ones instead of Mason. We know Mason's ceiling is mediocrity. Let's see something else.

And for God's sake Chuks.... and Green.... block somebody.

Najee looks good though! Got hit in the backfield and gained 6 yards!
 
Was that a penalty on the steelers TD? They handed the ball to a RB who ran it in. Is that legal now in 2021?
