Been trying to find out if 5 prime time games are the max for any team including the Flex schedule. Gotta believe that week 17 at Balt, will be flexed. If so, that’s 6 prime time games.

I’d certainly like to see us win, but I just realize it’s not the end of the world if we don’t. Most teams take a month or so to “hit their stride” - including the Patriots... and most teams that are hot in September, don’t do so well down the stretch.

Historically, we have play our best football in November and December, when it counts. I’d much prefer to continue that trend, than to shoot our wad in September, just so we can beat the Patriots.

I’m more concerned about not sucking against mediocre teams than I am about beating the Patriots in week #1.

ALL true but you do need wins to count up. So if we just go in there nonchalantly and KICK their *** , you'd be ok with that???????? NO ONE wants us to shoot our wad to early but some of us want to beat those cheating muther *******, nonchalantly as hell.
