Guy just had a baby I do understand he was beat out for a spot but sad for the man he seemed like a good dude.no more switz?? Sweet!!!
Was some rumblings about Pierre the corner he had a good camp and was rewarded with a spot. Little surprised Davis stuck must have beat out Big Dan.Not even sure who the hell a few of the new guys even are.
Some surprises! Big Dan ..Switz... Color me surprised... slightly.

Think you are thinking of the other Ryan ...Shazier.I heard Tomlin in a post-practice Q/A yesterday say that Switz was (paraphrasing...obviously) "preparing his transition to the next part of his life" yesterday. Sad for him..happy for my team.

Shocked at Big Dan and Switz. Big Dan supposedly had a good camp and was in the best shape of his life. Not sure who beat him out but glad to see it. I also hope whoever beat Switz out can get open and is on the same page as Ben like Switz was.
Switz was used mostly as a slot receiver who went downfield INCREDIBLY short and was basically a dump off receiver. Whomever fills Switz's role will be able to do what ever Switz did at the very minimal but will be better at it.....
Salute the nation
I think his undoing was when they wanted to replace him on returns. They say the more you do it helps your cause so in this case was the less you do you are replaceable. So then they zoom in on you as a WR and his inability to get yards after the catch limited him even further. Not a good combination.Exactly and the season he got here after camp, he kept becoming Ben's go to guy for getting 1st downs. He definitely improved as that season went on. Last year without Ben and being injured, not so much.
