Serious buy. Tomlin gave Butler and Porter enough rope to hang the team. He finally realized it ain't getting better.
This is alarming or embarrassing. Or both.
We acknowledge that the wheels have fallen off, obvious!y
Think I'll "Hold". At it's face, it seems like a no-lose proposition, bringing in a guy who's teams he coached have not only faced the Cheaters often, but had success against them. He also coached Bostic when they were both with the Colts, so who knows what that'll lead to, if anything.Buy or sell this will help the defense ?
I don't see how this doesn't undermine the coaches. How can the players have confidence that the coaches know what they are doing if they have to bring in outside help to get it done?
"Tell me again about the rabbits, Jim!".
How long after watching them practice do you think it took that coach to start laughing?
Slow ILBers - ****** scheme, this cat has his hands full.
When you have no confidence in your D or coaching, bring in outside help.
Buy or sell this will help the defense ?
Exactly. The real question is what took them so long to do something like this?
fire Tomlin demote Butler and Hire Rex and tell him to tell Colbert the type of players he wants to buld a D around. this 2-4-5 crap must end once a team engages successfully in doubling Heyward and getting him a away on the inside run the LB's behind all get washed up and including Sean Davis coming down him to make a run stop that should be no gain or at most 3 yards that constantly turns into 6-9 yard gains.
