Steelers-Bills Postponed to Monday

Society has luxuries we take for granted now. As much as we say to toughen up etc. The current generation doesn’t deal with it
Oh they still do. You just have to get into the rural areas and out into God's country.

The large cities don't have a clue other than violent crime.

But I’ve always said....we would if we had to. Sure there would be an adjustment period. But when you have no choice,it’s amazing What you can do.
Some people still do cause of unfortunate living situations but for the most part at least in a first world country, People are going to operate on convenience and efficiency now.

Geez. Just move it to Cleveland for crying out loud.

You are invited to have it in my city. Ski season is now in full swing.....you get 35-40% exchange rate.....guaranteed sellout ,lots of Steeler fans.......many sea chicken fans to throw your 20$ beers at.

Would you really want to watch a game played in a blizzard? That would be some crummy football. We aren’t just talking about snow. We are talking 2-3 feet of snow. They would be stopping the game to clear the field every 10 minutes. I think some people don’t realize just how much snow that is.

Worst I’ve ever experienced is 37 inches in about a 16 hour period in Watertown, NY in February of 2020. All I had to do was keep the driveway clean, the back deck and a spot in the yard for my little dogs. Couldn’t imagine playing football in that or trying to keep a stadium cleared for football.

I just think it would be a ****** game to watch.

We watched a game with raindrops on the camera lens last week for an entire game. I think we all could handle a few snowflakes here and there. Unless one is the snowflake I guess.

Man, I hope some day I can sit in my house and be self righteous enough to think someone else should play a football game in a blizzard with projected 60 mph wind gusts and 1-3 feet of snowfall because it inconveniences me if they don’t. I wanna be that bad *** some day.

Sure why not. Now the winner has even less time to recover and prepare for the next game.

They should have played it in Pittsburgh,a neutral location or down south in something like the Mercedes dome.
That actually was the plan, but Hochul nixed it and accepted the move to Mon/Tues instead for her constituents. It’s an election year after all.

i forget who on here posted it - bu there was a f*-load of single digit games that were tense as f*ck to watch. Decided by a field goal in the end.

THAT is what this is new-age NFL is missing: the struggle and emotional exhaustion of a "snow-game".

"You're my f*ckin guy!"

P.S. drink AF. Ask me anything, including thew S meet-up of draft day/ night before April 2005.

So much for getting the chance to beat both the Stains and Rats

I believe football is meant to be played in bad weather, but there are limits to everything.
