hi, just wanted to share some plays that stood out for me (and probably won't be on the highlight reel) when replaying the game in my DVR, this first thread is only about the 1st Qtr. Wanted to make emphasys only on good plays by rookies and second-year guys but it extended a bit to our blue chippers too:

1. DeCastro and Puncey pulling in the same run, last game it didn't work as it should've because both engaged the same defender, this time it worked well with a DeAngelo stiff arm and DeCastro getting to the second level, still blocking at the 8th yard

2. Jesse James catch on the sideline with a defender all over him. Amazing catch (did someone else thought to scream Heeeeeaaathhh!?)

3. Sean Davis in coverage with the broken pass, good awareness by the rook

4. On 3rd and long Big Ben does a Houdini and then connects with Coates for a huge gain. Coates was on a curl route, when he saw the broken play in the backfield he started running to the open zone, great heads-up play by the young WR

5. 3rd down, Redzone D, defensive backs drop in a zone just ahead of the 1st down mark. The pass rush gets there through the middle by (surprise, surprise) Jarvis Jones who hits Dalton just after a rushed release to a receiver in the middle of the field. Both Safeties (Mitchell and Golden) zeroed in knocking the hell out of the receiver who didn't have a chance to gain yards. 4th down, field goal

Litos please delete the Davis play he sucks thanks.

Just kidding Good job thanks

Coach will find something negative in that clip, his eyes can't seem to see anything else in regards to Davis

Because then he will have to admit he is wrong and we all know that's not likely. By only focusing on Davis's mistakes and ignoring any good plays he can literally stay on his "I'm superior to all of you" soapbox forever

Excellent job Litos! Videos 3 and 5 are set to private, so adjust those settings. Also when you record, it's best to have your phone sideways and as close to the TV as possible.

Thanks!

thanks I'll try that, I was just very tired last night recording them. Didn't make much of an effort really. If this thread makes some noise I'll do the same for the other three quarters.

Already fixed the private settings

Keep up the great work!

That first play shows confidence in Jesse James. Gilbert has to block the DT and James has to get the DE so Decastro and Pouncey can pull around him.
