Always happens when you have a Thu game. Would have been Sun, Sun, Thu if we played on Thanks which is the standard 3 games in 11 days for thursday players. We just get it a little later.

Kick the **** out of them early and put the scrubs in for the 4th qtr.

If the NFL was concerned about player safety, not "looking responsible for Covid", then they would move games to Wed, next Tuesday, following Monday to add recovery days....they have moved the Steelers 6 times this season.....what does it matter?

Well, they've got a lot of rest right now. they haven't played a game since last Sun. if they play Wed, they will have 9 days off. plus they did nothing Thur, Fri, Sat and had a practice Sun afternoon. I think the Steelers will be fine.

usually if you play a Thursday game, you have the following Sunday/Monday off.
Unless you're the Steelers.

Yeah, that's rich. The team doesn't even know if it should practice or not from day to day.

When you know you have a game on a certain day, you can rest and have a different mindset. These guys have had to be ready to play since last Wednesday..

It's no different than playing a Thursday night game. Mon, Tues, Wed and Thur(Game Day). in this case, Thur, Fri, Sat and Sun(Game Day). hell they could move it to Thur and play the Wash game Monday. or They could move it to Fri and play the game Tues if they want to.

it is nothing like playing a Thursday night game...no team has ever played Thursday and then the following Sunday or Monday. Then followed that up with a game the next Sunday. Thursday games are played on short week but they had the appeal of extra time off after a short week. Not a short week followed by a normal week.

They may be rested right now, but they will not be after the Washington game and the Bills game and the rest of the regular season that follows without a break

nobody else can seem to beat 'em so I guess the NFL has to step in and do it. But we are going to learn 'em by beating Rats, NoNames, and Bills anyway.
