one and done unless they get a contract negotiated before free agency starts next year.

I'd rather just have him leave next season and keep TJ. We can't keep them both...not when Bud is looking for 20+ a year. We will be looking for edge types next draft fellows.

The bell has tolled past 4 and NO BREAKING BAn.... I mean NEWS

Watt is a keeper, Durpee is not. Watt has been good-to-great every year. Durpee only got good when he was playing for a contract. He's not irreplaceable.

I think we will find we already have his replacement on the roster.

You can't be great at every position in every unit. You should be great with TJ and Great with Devin. So if you have to pair them with good that will have to be enough. They need one of the young Outside backers and Gilbert likely to emerge as starters next year or they will have to spend draft capital at least one of those positions. My biggest NFL fear is that there will be no season and we miss out on what could be a very interesting team and then all the free agency breakup happens.
