The Pittsburgh Steelers led all teams with a league-best eight selections in the 2018 Pro Bowl, per rosters released by the NFL on Tuesday.

The Killer B's -- Antonio Brown, Ben Roethlisberger, Le'Veon Bell and Chris Boswell -- along with linebacker Ryan Shazier (who suffered a season-ending spinal injury earlier this month) headlined the group, which will play in the annual all-star game Jan. 28 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. Tackle Alejandro Villanueva, guard David DeCastro and center Maurkice Pouncey rounded out the Steelers' selections.

Al got elected because he stood up during the national anthem. His jersey sales skyrocketed after that moment.

I'm also a little surprised for the Boswell selection. Not because Boswell has proven to be Money for us, but because that SOB Tucker from the rats. That dude is the probably the best kicker in the league, I'm sorry to say.

Boz was rated higher, and had a higher percentage made.

Congratulations to the Steelers that were selected, however, I agree Hayward should've got picked as well. Go Steelers!!!

I'm a little surprised Alejandro Villanueva made it, but happy for him.

Hard to find OL statistics, but a team stat I glanced at had the Steelers at number 1. If I remember correctly it was pass protection?

Anyways AL has done a solid job overall.

An honor and privilege for the recognition by all Eight of these STEELERS! Of course that will all be overshadowed by the media slobberfest coming over Brady and his multiple PB selections.
All eight should collectively tell the NFL thanks but no thanks IMHO.

Maybe the talent at left tackle is at a low tide. AV is solid, but I think he had too many penalties QB pressures and sacks against to make the pro bowl. Perhaps the injury to Thomas is the reason why he made it?

The pro bowl used to matter, now the game and its numerous replacements are a joke.

Without a doubt. Heyward has been fantastic this season. Hiwever, you have Bosa, Campbell, and Mack in front of him.

This. It's more about the guys in front of him than being snubbed. It's not like someone undeserving got in over him.

Who cares about the Pro Bowl?

He won the fan vote at left tackle and with everything that went down with the NFL this year, I don't think anyone should be surprised he had so much national appeal when it comes to fan support.

Perhaps it's his 5 come from behind victories and being second in the league in yardage?

Very good point. Alejandro Villanueva is a hero and acted like one in the face of adversity when Tomlin decided for " team unity " over the national anthem issue. That still bothers me, a football coach should never issue an order on politics.

Disobeying a director order from your boss, to uphold his own values, even in a hard to see area such as a tunnel took guts. And it was the right thing for him to do.
