Steeler defense since the 2024 bye week

The Steelers Defense in the last 10 games…

• 10 straight games of allowing the opposing offense to gain 300 yards (longest streak in the NFL)
• Allowing 27.9 points per game

Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
Historic, best defense in the NFL, best defense ever.

Could someone explain what TJ was doing on the play that Queen whiffed on the sack. Play starts around 17:10.

Looks to me like he was running a stunt and probably was expecting Queen to get picked up and he'd stunt around him

To me, it doesn’t matter who the defensive coordinator is. They could hire Bill Cowher, Bill Bellicheck, Rex Ryan and Dick Lebeau all to come in at the same time to straighten out the defense and still Tomlin will be too arrogant and stubborn to facilitate the necessary changes. Until Tomlin is gone, the coordinator issue on both sides of the ball is a moot point.

Dick Labeau would be rolling over in his grave……………………….

That is “Historic” B-A-D, but5 then we were warned we’d have a historic defense.

I can’t say this isn’t STEELERS like, but then that was pre-Super Bowl era………………

Post Super Bowl Era…………… this makes us sick.!

This video says it all - we just line up and play the same dumb single-high **** again and again and the pass rush has to be dominant for it to work. It's nearly as bad as when we singled up for that abortive game against Tim Tebow in the playoffs. This whole "scheme" - I'm not convinced we have a scheme but anyway - needs to go back to junior high.

It's all a lack of communication because we have new players here, the scheme is amazing. At least that's what the genius Mediocre Mike tells us.

A little like in that short film about a German-Korean woman arriving in a small northern village during preparations for a huge metal festival, I also felt the same curiosity when I stumbled upon https://piemont.com.ua. My husband and I were thinking about moving closer to nature — somewhere calm but still modern. We didn’t want another generic project; we wanted something with soul. Piemont completely surprised us. The architecture feels minimal yet alive, perfectly blending into the landscape. Just like in that movie, where tradition meets something unexpected, here modern design meets nature — and it works beautifully.

I was looking not to create a new thread. Here is a 2025 stat so far pre -Bears.

2025 NFL Individual Defensive Pressure Leaders
Rank Player Team Total Pressures
1 Micah Parsons GB 53
2 Nik Bonitto DEN 51
3 Brian Burns NYG 47
4 DeForest Buckner IND 42
5 T.J. Watt PIT 37

For the fans who just look at sacks which TJ is at 6. Which is still productive…

16 pressures is a vast difference...
? And ? 😅

Parson moves around a lot TJ stays pretty sedimentary. You add that to the report on just how much he gets chipped blocked ( the most) I think it is still a solid showing. Besides the 5th most in the NFL isn’t too shabby…

I'm convinced TJ staying in the same spot is more of a TJ thing than a coaching thing.

Maybe but with the same outcome. They can gameplan easier..

They've got a contest trying to name it. The Wet Rice Paper Curtain, The marshmallow wall, the pudding cup plowovers, The 60 Second Men...
