I like him better. Am I crazy? Seems that Shazier should be far and away better with all his athletic ability. Shazier comes off as light in the *** to me. What you say?

I am starting to believe we might see safety in Shaziers future....seriously.,

WHAT? He gets pushed around very easy. Spence seems more anchored. We still can not cover TEs even though we start a LBer with 4.4 speed. What do you think?

Unfortunately, it always seems like Timmons is in coverage giving up the big plays to tight ends. Maybe it's just me.

So you like a little junk in the trunk?

I know....just ******* around

We have NO one that seems to be able to cover a TE. Gets sickening. Need to bring a safety up to do it.

Wouldn't mind having an extra d back on the field for certain teams, *pats, thjat use the TE a lot

Timmons gives up plays to the tight ends because he is slower than them. Shazier gives them up because he can't cover them.

Shazier is young and I don't think grasps fully yet what it takes to be an NFL player. Didn't he come out as a Jr? If he figures it out, he will be much better than Spence. That is the big if, though. Right now Spence may be the better option.

Shazzzz is our future. He will fill out a little (6rings will like that). He will be better with a little playing time and off season under his belt. DEBO's influence in the weight room will help.

I still like Shazier as a 5th LB/S in a 3/5/3 D

Hope you all noticed how well Seattle covered TE's in a couple of their losses.

problem I have with Shazier is he seems like a roller coaster player....

not the typical highs and low of a player but the looks like superman one second the next second plays like Jane....

maybe it is because he is still relatively new to the NFL

but one second it looks like the light went on

the next the switch is turned to off.

need a little more consistency from yinz Ryan..

I thought the same thing but lately he hasn't had but one Superman game against a couple Janes. Spence seems to play a lot steadier, always around the ball. I'm with Cope, good to have them both.

It's still funny to me that so many on here think Timmons sucks when the coaches on the team, coaches around the league, his peers and most analysts think he is an all pro.

Rings made me send him photos of my junk...also photos of Supe and I intertwined...

those were not for the Blinger.
how can I trust you anymore?

~ btw - check your snapchat for a pic of my freshly shorn bag ~

I like both players - but, each brings a different element to the field of play...

IMO, Shaz has the higher ceiling, if you will, and has the versatility to be used in a plethora of scenarios in our defensive schemes.

Spence, has two extra years with the team and the game(s) are now slowing down for him - he no longer reacts as a rookie; but, playing w/ insightful instincts.

I, too, am ecstatic to have both players on the roster.

I think in part, he needs a little more time in the system. A little more comfort to creat instincs type reactions will up his game a lot. His natural speed / agility show upon occasion. Looking forward to his full developement.

It seems Timmons has gotten a bad rap from the start. He was asked to switch positions, hurt almost an entire season, then coming back from injury............ people just raged on him. Some here still look at that as to his ability...... He is a SOLID player and leader. At one point, Troy Polamolo claimed Timmons to be the "fasted closing speed" on the team and that was when Troy was fast. So those who feel Timmons isn't very good, need to watch other teams LBs in coverage, tey'll see Timmons isn't all that bad.
