Special Teams are ATROCIOUS......Danny Smith needs to be FIRED!!!

Our special teams have been overlooked the past 4 or 5 seasons because our offense has been so prolific it didn't matter if our KR or PR couldn't return the ball or make the first guy miss. It's an important facet of the football game and the coaching staff seems perfectly ok with keeping Danny Smith as our special teams coach. I know coaches don't play the game but damn it's hard to sit back week in, week out and watch our lack of ability to return punts and kickoffs. Johnny Holton today should be his last game as a Steeler. His decision to return the opening kickoff out of the endzone after looking like he was going to take the touchback but then after hesitating he decides to return it. As for Ryan Switzer he is pretty sure handed at making the catch but he can't gain 2 yards after catching the punt. We need more dynamic play on special teams. It's an important facet of the game but one the Steelers have long ignored. Very frustrating!

You do realize there isn't much tomlin does, yet alone by himself. Sorry Coolie but Coach Tomlin brought this team in ill prepared and just rubber-stamped a lot of the bungles play to this game. I even saw 2DL in critical times, could have had 39 seconds with one time out just before the half but elected to save the two for eternity & the 10 seconds, just in case. I realize we are stuck but it's a far cry from STEELERS FOOTBALL.
