Sources – Brown Requests Trade

I agree and this very easily could come to the point of no return. If he hangs out with James Harrison over the next while with their Steelers pity party this could go too far fast. And now even if the Steelers would consider parting with Tomlin there is not a chance they will. They wont be held hostage by this fruit cake. No way.

What if the 3rd ******* shows up for these videos.that being Bell! people's head would explode on here. And I look for it to happen

I just want to put all of this into perspective and anyone is free to correct any inaccuracies:
AB was drafted in the sixth round the 22nd wr taken in the draft. Nobody from nowhere university. In the wrong circumstance he could have flamed out before he began. And a little over a million does not go far with the amount of mouths he has to feed.
Largely on speculation and promise the Steelers hand him a big contract at least partially earmarked for Mike Wallace.
In a self made way AB developed one of the most unique skill sets in the game and became one of the if not the most dynamic players of the decade. However, the level he achieved is symbiotic with Ben. They both have benefitted from that relationship and AB hit heights he never would have come close to without Ben. Some teams he would struggle for 1000yds. Ben freely admits how he has benefited from AB.
When he started to blow up he got cranky with his contract which was very speculative on the Steelers part. They told him to be patient and perform. He did.
Then they backed up the Brinks truck and unloaded it on him. And rightly so. He deserved it. Rare talent.
Along with the contract came the endorsements, the Madden Cover on and on.
But that just isn't good enough. Hey AB.? And if this was about winning I'd back you 100 percent. But this isn't about winning because no way , no how this helps winning. Its just never enough is it?

Yeah don't think it was about winning. Who knows what goes on in that mind.

Haha, he's still hasn't caught a TD from anyone but Ben. seeing how Ben misses all these games and all. he's had many chances to change that.

Wow. I had literally just done this up so I could illustrate this point and came to post it.

AB's stats without Ben:

And the Pats game had the Great Le"veon Bell to. how'd that work out. that's right they still lost.

Nice work Zack,...........Now I'd like to ask...........WHO made WHO???? Maybe 65-35 in favor of BEN

Salute the nation

AB, Ben and Tomlin need to have a meeting, a beer or two and make up.
Put the ego aside and just play some damn football.

Ben and AB are peanut butter & jelly, batman & robin, Milli & vanilli(minus the lip synching)

Win some games and this frustration is all over.
The media made this issue more complex than needed.

AB is just basking in the attention

Ben says he didnt see ANYTHING at practice!, "What blowup? I dont know anything about this"..93 the fan

Bwahahahaha

SN is like a bunch of hysterical 12 y/o girls getting together and having their period for the first time

James Jones on NFLN said he spoke to a player friend on the team who said on Wednesday AB ran the wrong route and Ben threw the ball on the ground and said “get somebody else in here.” Just sharing what JJ said, y’all.

There's been a lot of miscommunication between Ben and AB all year. More this year than probably the rest of their career combined.

JJ hates the Steelers. Dont give af.

Not one person in Pittsburgh has said this, and they love to bash Ben here

I would literally have zero problem with him saying that. He ****** missed the walk through for the saints game too was the initial report. Biggest game of the season. And if you ru a wrong route in a game it's an interception or a sack.

I think James Jones is an idiot. I heard him tonight talking about AB and he said how come Ben never gets any blame... As if Ben was in the wrong for getting tired of AB running wrong routes and being a diva.

Then you have fellow idiot Deon Sanders chiming in. His only contribution to analysis is saying Pay the Man! As if every owner should just pay a ton of money to every single player.

This whole AB situation could be a positive in the end. It's apparent that many things have been swept under the rug. Tomlin has allowed AB and maybe others to get away with stuff. This has all now come to a head and will be dealt with now.

Tomlin knows it's now his job on the line. Also, this incident gives him gives him an "excuse" to be a hard ***. It could serve as a reset.

Some validity in many of your points. I just want Tomlin disconnected not reset. I'm actually pretty surprised Rosenhaus let it get this far. He knows the Steelers dont **** around.

Christ Almighty. Troy Polumalu wondered why Tomlin was such a hard-*** during the '08 season on national TV.

Put your foot down and end this nonsense already.

I wouldn't say that Tomlin isn't a hard ***. He has a problem when a star causes trouble. He has different rules for different players. Has stated so himself.

That's where the trouble always starts. It's fine when maybe you let a star slide on being 5 minutes late as a one time thing because he earned a bit of slack. But then when he's late 3 more times, you have to discipline him because now he's taking advantage.

If you don't discipline a guy after multiple violations then any guy who does get disciplined automatically feels slighted. Then they resent the person getting a break.

And this is why AB keeps doing what he does. No accountability. Of course, James Jones seems to have an agenda here and he’s laughable with the extreme comments he makes.

The second I saw him blame Ben I was like yep just another racist blaming whitey.

Cam Heyward: We want AB here, but you don’t let your brothers down

Heyward made an appearance on WDVE and the Brown saga was a major topic of conversation. Heyward said he didn’t know the extent of what was going on with Brown until just before the Steelers faced the Bengals last Sunday and he said that the wideout has “a lot of mending” to do with teammates as a result of how things played out last week.

“We all want AB here, but to be a part of this team you can’t do that,” Heyward said. “You don’t let your brothers down. It hurt more knowing that there were multiple people in that locker room giving everything they’ve got. … I think everybody wants AB on the team, but we’ve got to be on the same page. From the top to the bottom we all have to be accountable for it. I’m sure [General Manager] Kevin [Colbert], Coach [Mike] Tomlin will be talking to him. Going forward that’s unacceptable. We all sign up for this game and we all sign up to be part of this team.”

Heyward said he feels “unfortunate situations” have chipped away at the Steelers too often in recent seasons and that the team “can’t crack” in 2019. That requires putting things back together after a messy end to 2018.

Losing has a way of shaking out all the bedbugs under the covers, lol

I have much worse stories than that to depict the person. Only he can stop his bag. I’m 100% against owners in the fight for social justice, police brutality and anything that helps our people. I have held stories for him and still am. I’m an analyst. My stories are my job.
-Ryan Clark

I would guess there are a lot of people holding stories for him.
