The shooting is a problem. Should not have happened. But you need to put the shooting into context and admit what is really going on:
- You are correct, an officer disarmed the guy.
- A still photo seems to show that the officer who disarmed the guy hit the trigger and fired the weapon.
- That gunshot probably triggered (no pun intended) the response by police, shooting the guy.
- These officers have been out in the freezing cold for six weeks, getting spit on, screamed at, with whistles blown in their faces, garbage thrown at and on them, with multiple assaults and threats every day.
- The ICE agents are people. How are they expected to react when being abused and threatened for weeks, indeed months?
- "oH buT ThEiR PrOFeSSeNaLs!" Sure thing. Lets go to the place where the protesters work ... well, the small percentage who have a job ... and rain that abuse down on them. The ICE agents are human, not machines so dismissing the ugliness of these protests is unforgiveable as well.
- Irresponsible dimwits fan the flames and encourage the protesters to get violent, to become rioters.
- Those pushing for violence hate this nation and Western culture in general.
- Their goal is to have citizens shot. That's the whole point. I wrote a post about this months ago in a different thread.
- Why would anybody have that as a goal? Because the aim is to undercut our faith in government, to tear down the guidelines that used to govern our behavior, to weaken our society in the hopes of destroying it.
- Sowing chaos in America certainly helps those who hate America.
- Nobody would pay attention to these protesters if the media did not lap up the story and drown us with videos 24 hours per day.
- So irresponsible, America-hating nitwits push protesters to get violent, the protesters become violent, the media obsess over these idiots, the protesters face no consequences for blocking streets, spitting on police, and being ******** in general, and a protester is killed. Who the hell is surprised by this? It's the whole damn point of the enterprise.
Now this is what I pay my paralegal to do. Excellent post.
