Nuss is the same height as Rodgers and Mahomes, but he has short arms and smallish hands, something McCarthy spoke about recently.

His height isn't the issue. He has a small frame, at least 15 lbs lighter than Rodgers and Mahomes at the combine. He went from potentially the top QB in this year's draft to a mid-round pick, in part because of injuries. I saw Kenny Pickett and his small frame get beat up. Nussmeier will have a tough time staying healthy in the NFL.

KFP loved to get happy feet, run from a clean pocket and get himself hit…

Not sure if Nuss will be that skittish, but if he is the stature could be a concern.

With pocket presence not so much of a concern.

Pretty obvious that McCarthy has an idea of what QBs he feels are worthy of drafting. He’s already said he doesn’t see the value of taking Simpson in the first round ( if there) because he said Howard is just as good as Simpson.

So he obviously has his eye on Allur, Beck or the LSU kid.

For me it's just Allar or Payton Cole.

Most of the QBs in this draft are backups. They just don't have the size or arm talent. Simpson, Nussmeier, Klubnik, May as well sign Pickett or Gardner Minshew or just roll with Rudolph and Howard.

Beck has arm talent but I don't want him. Reminds me of Jay Cutler. Just doesn't give a ****.

I'd be OK with Allar or Cole Payton in Rd 2. Allar has the huge passing upside. Payton could be a dual threat. Allar needs to work on mechanics and Payton needs to learn to play a pro system.

Aside from Allar and Payton, i'd be OK with a late rounder on Taylon Green because he's a freak athlete but it's scary how raw he looks with so many starts under his belt.

Free agents I'd look at Joe Fagnano, Sawyer Robertson, Athan Kaliakmanis
