So who replaces Haley?

Let's see how he'd do as OC first. I think he'd have a much better shot at that job.

Then maybe give him the title of Assistant Head Coach.

we put up 40 on a tough D. Haley isn't the problem.. It's Butler
Not that simple. What part of the 40 is he responsible for. If it really is his play calling that is different. If its him calling the first quarter and Ben from the line thats different. Players only want coaches that make them better. I think Haley is ***. My opinion.

I think I would bring in some new up and coming coach, and give him the title of assistant OC. He can bring his new ideas and let Ben run the show on game day. They can both work during the week on their ideas for the game and Ben then can implement them. This way the O is not NEW, just REVISED. When Ben is gone the new guy gets the keys and can do what he wants at that point, with the added experience he just gained. Why coddle Ben by promoting his guy, just let Ben do it.

Short yardage situations, very rarely did we or anyone else line up in the Power I as their base offense.

Base offense no, but Pats and Saints both use power I frequently. The Saint under Payton have always used the FB and still manage to spread the field. I’d like the steelers to be like the Saints, a real POWER run game where your OL actually blocks people and moves them off the ball instead of just getting in their way for a second while your RB reads the blocks and finds a crack.

I don’t think the steelers have an honest run game, meaning when the defense knows it’s coming, can they get those short yards anyway? The answer is no.
