So Now It's Inhouse Fighting

I hear what you're saying slash but eventually the players see the In capabilities of the coaching as that is also a part of why they are losing. We have a pretty talented bunch of guys who are constantly put in un-winable situations. Sometime in all of this, weather to push the blame finger, sides take sides.

“Guys are constantly put in un-winnable situations?” You do realize we have been “in” four of our five games (with an injury ridden team) all the way to the end, and the losses have come down to execution on a couple of key plays in each game, right? But if you want to blame coaching go right ahead. smh

So running a wild cat offense against a team that played almost exclusively the wild cat last year and some this year isn't a coaching issue? Having your backup RB pass the ball on a trick play early in the game isn't on the coaching? There is enough blame to go around but the coaching staff is part of the overall problem.

is this a joke? it's coaching that typically tends to win close games like that, einstein. having an uber-talented 53-man roster can only take you so far

It's a combination of both and if you don't think they have been put in unwinnable situations,......... then try watching a game or two and see the coaching inabilities for your self. ST has a coach, OFFENSE has a coach, There is a head coach and believe it or not our HC is the DC with a puppet assistant DC. So yes, there are players that fail but also coaching has failed as well, weather in the winnable game or in personnel decisions or game planning. BOTH need to step up in their respective departments, player or coach. What about having your HB pass inside the ten......... wouldn't you want your QB doing that??? How about the dreaded 2DL goal line stand??? just to name a few un-winnable situations. That list is much longer so go ahead and Slap Your Head. No Worries

How about putting your slowest LB on the other team's fastest WR? How about rushing 5 guys on a 3rd and 16 and not spying the QB when you know they are protecting a small lead? How about not taking TOs when the clock is running down and you know you're going to get the ball back before half time?

I agree with everything said - the OL and rest of offence needs to man the **** up! They have gotten ***** slapped on several occasions this year, particularly against NE. With that said, I can understand the frustration of the D. For once they seem to be trending up, but the Offence isn't handling their end of the bargain. Now, I wonder if the same things were done and said when our defense has looked like **** over the last 10 years. This defense has looked like a bunch of ******* far more often than the offence has ever (now we're on our 3rd QB to boot!). Never heard any in-fighting and bitching from the frustration our offence had with them, when the O puts up 40+ points and still loses because the D is a ******* sieve. I taste a little hypocrisy here. But, back to the beginning - I'm glad the D is getting nasty with the OL - their play has been below par for several games and moments when it matters most! This whole team has needed an infusion of nastiness since 2012 at least!

That was exactly my take on it. I can’t believe this was even a story though. I thought we ha d gotten out of the media spotlight, now it looks like they’re just making **** up. First they resurrect the whole deferring in OT decision (which is really a moot point - and over), now they’re talking about skirmishes in practice. Doesn’t this happen all around the league every week? If not, it should )if players give a damn).

No one likes Coach Tomlin, but a faithful few...(me included)

Anything to throw shade on, no pun intended, his parade.

Meh, I'm just rollin' w/ the punches at this point.

Not sure why they would get mad at the entire offense. JuJu fumbled not the OL. The OL did their job on that play. You don't see the offense getting mad that the defense gave up the game tying FG.

Hodges didn't recover the loose ball - he's got just as much blame as Juju, IMO...

And where they were at on the ******* field? Maddening.

I don't know what goes on in other people's heads, but it's not that I dislike coach Tomlin (and I personally give zero ***** about the amount of melanin in his skin), I'm just tired of his inability to properly coach the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Just as much blame? He deserves some blame but the guy who coughs up the football in that situation (knowing the other guy has been trying to punch it out all game) deserves the majority of the blame. And I love JuJu.

I'm not going to blame a 3rd string rookie UDFA QB playing in his first game for not recovering a fumble. He overshot the play. I blame JuJu because Humphrey had tried that exact same punch on him earlier in the game. Why didn't JuJu expect it again?

Even his most faithful of supporters have to be mulling over what it would be like having a fresh start. I think this team needs one.

I don't want to get in a pissing match over every little detail like u *******, let the players work it out, since our players coach is strangely quiet, lol
