So long 92

I'd like to see him back next year. It's disappointing that after throwing so many high picks at OLB, they still have a big hole there if he hangs them up.

Harrison said he isn't done after the game. So not sure what yinz are saying bye for.

Is Tomlin and company going to resign him though.. I hope so. We'll be drafting 1 or 2 OLBs.

He just announced he's not retiring saying simply "I'm not done."

Who the hell wants retirement? Do you think he is going to stop working out? If his body lets him, and he's still getting the job done, why should e retire? Because of the number 38?

I'm not saying he should, it's just my feeling he will. The Steelers aren't going to pay him a lot and the toll on his body is huge.

Article on Dejan's site says Harrison said three words when asked if he was retiring ... "I'm not done". In my opinion, they should resign him for a year and draft an OLB (or two) to groom as his replacement. Deebo can hold the spot down until the draft pick(s) is ready to start.

James Harrison not planning to retire

Mitch SandersonJan 22 2017, 23:16
James Harrison's season may be over, but his career is not.

The Pittsburgh Steelers veteran linebacker said after Sunday's AFC Championship loss to the New England Patriots that he's "not done" playing, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson. Harrison insists his body can still take the punishment necessary to go on.

"I feel fine, I feel little nicks and bruises here and there, but other than that I feel fine," said Harrison. "Time will heal all that."

Harrison is 38 years old and will turn 39 before the 2017 season begins. He is set to become a free agent in March if he does not reach a new deal with the Steelers.

The five-time Pro Bowler led the Steelers in sacks this season with five.

BRING HIM BACK!

So he wants to come back so he can drop into coverage some more?

rally around him for 1 more year,,, send him off in style next year as a champion!

I, for one, hope he's got another stellar year in him. I believe him when he says he's "not done", but something tells me that if the Steelers decide to move on from him, he'll decide to call it quits, not wanting a repeat of what happened when he signed with Cincinnati.

He'll be back if the Steelers want him.

I'd love to see him go out on top. 2017 Superbowl or bust!!

From his comments he seems more positive about coming back than he did at this time last year. He can
smell another ring and he will be very needed at least at the start of the 2017 season. I think he goes one more.

Damn shame that a 38 year old man was our best defensive player. I doubt he will be back. I would not if I were him.

He still has some value as a backup, or vs the Ravens!

Appoint James as the linebacker coach and send Joey packing.
