Snail yea !

Almost Cost the game

I personally thought he deserved the start based on last weeks performance. All of a sudden they bring him in cold & he coughed it up. No excuses, dude needed to be ready. Now Conner breaks off a big one & Snell is an afterthought...

Ben's int was costly.
bush coverage on te was costly.
some bad play selection on offense was costly.

Yea, bad fumble but plenty of sloppy to be found in this game

None of the running backs did well Conner's stats were misleading , was not for that last long run he was not so impressive.

He isn’t an afterthought but he needs to hold on to the football.

I hate debates where they leave out stats to support comments. The game was on the line and he shined and ran for over 100 yards. The turnovers and shaky secondary play would be my topics if complaining. But I expected this game to be close and it was.

That TD and 2-pt conversion to Fant were costly, but I blame it more on putting a LB on a TE with the measurables of a WR.

Bush had a bad game because we played TOO MUCH man-to-man. No way Driskel should have had the game he had!!! Oh well, we still won.

A win is a win.

I missed the first quarter of the game.

Watched the rest. I agree with Hoot's assessment but the D rose to the occasion at the end.

I give Denver a lot of credit, they fought hard having lost their starting QB.

Big Ben still has moments of wonder. That TD to Claypool was one of them.

Conversely he needs to improve on the throw aways.

Devon Bush was eaten alive by the TE, but was that his fault or the D coach for not adjusting.

As I told my daughter who watched it in Delaware, better to be 2-0 instead of 0-2 (which the Stillers seem to start off as).

Its only two games. Neither Conner nor Snell seem like the answer. Why can't the rookie MacFarland play? He'll hit the hole much quicker and open up the outside rushing game, I can guarantee that.

And if he isn't up to snuff in pass protection he'll get Ben killed, I can guarantee that.

How do you KNOW that??? Can he pass block as well as JC or Benny??? Don't be a silly rabbit...

Agree. Get that man off the bench and into the game and lets see what he can do.

And he probably isn't up to speed on the audibles and protection changes

I'm not suggesting that he be a three down back or play the majority of the snaps at this point. Put him in a handful of plays like they did with K. Whyte last year. The guy has the potential to be a serious weapon but that potential is wasted if he never even gets in the game.

It's been two games. There might be things way beyond our knowledge for why he's not getting a hat either. So much speculation at this point.

Isn't that the entire basis of trading up to draft Bush? Because he has the speed and ability to cover the tight end?

I said a TE with the measurables of a WR. That's a little unfair for any linebacker.

Typical TEs, sure.

2 fumbles in 2 games is concerning.

They may be having McFarland picking up blitzes into the night right now. I'll be surprised if he doesn't have a hat come next week.

Speaking of measurables, Bush ran a 4.43 at the combine. Fant ran a 4.5. Bush had a top speed of 18.47 mph. Fant was 18.18. They had similar numbers in the 20-yard shuttle and 3-cone.

Bush is faster than Fant. He just needs to start getting better in coverage.
