Chuck was a bad dude when he played guard for the great Cleve Brownie teams of the the 50s and early 60’s. Played for Paul Brown a great coach.
Great player, teacher, talent evaluator, Coach, and an overall interesting, highly intelligent man. Had lots of cool interests and hobbies outside of football. If there was ever a mans man, it was Chas Noll.

MY all time bestesteverestest coach of all time.

The absolutely BEST coach all time. He changed the game, built two power house teams, transitioned a NON-winning franchise into the greatest team of all time, many a many other things as well.

Can't say enough about him in a positive light.

I did this charity event for my work 6 years ago. the guy who put it together was good friends with Chucks wife. he gave me a football signed by chuck for the work I did. It was the best gift I have ever received. Chuck had died about 2 months before this happened.

He changed Pro football. No one thought a team could be that successful for that amount of time.
