He still ******* lives in Pittsburgh doesn't he?
What's this "come back" stuff.
If Faneca is in, Troy ought to be in. Faneca was as disgruntled as anyone when he left.
Faneca was disgruntled with the Oline coach, not necessarily the organization

Troy deserves to be there and should be at the ceremony. I really don't know the exact details about why Troy is or even could be so mad with the Steelers but he needs to grow up and get over it. Holding grudges is only bad for the person holding the grudge. And, you would think, with Troy being pretty religious and all, he would be all about forgiveness.
I agree. Troy has a legacy with the Steelers that should be nothing but positive
Well yes he certainly should be Omar, but it's a two-way street and the player has to agree to it as well.
Damn, do I really have to school you on this?![]()
Just CURIUOUS, How do either of you know TROY is mad??? Did he have an interview (I missed) and said so or is it just a hunch. I haven't read anything where TROY says he is mad or holding a grudge. I think it's just a communication thing and he chose next year. The Rooney's have open arms towards him and I don't know of any players / fans etc that are mad.
The media has suggested it but it isn't fact as they are NOT uoteing HIM on anything.
TROY is definately one of the BEST STEELERS ever. If he is mad and staying away, then that is on him but until he either says it or makes it public, I can't jump to conclusions.
Salute the nation
I read an article a year or so ago where his agent did say Troy was disgruntled at the way he felt the team shoved him out. He suggested that it will just take some time for Troy to heal up and get over it, but the wound was still open for him.
Troy was my hero, if I ever buy a Steelers jersey it will be his.
Yes certainly Steelers hall of Fame as well NFL hall of Fame tooTroy was larger than life IMO. He was the greatest Safety I've ever seen play the game. And yes, I know there are many great safeties in NFL history -- yes, Ronnie Lott -- and many greats of the past.
But I'm a homer at heart, and Troy made it exciting to tune in every Sunday because you never knew what was going to happen, but it was going to be exciting because this dude just had no regard for his own body, and did whatever he wanted to, essentially.
Troy is one of a kind, there will never be another like him.
